Words that
need their limits.
- Original
- An explicit independent-training declaration with empty parentIds and a named register. Not a conclusion from a missing parent field, nor a proof of consciousness.
- Derived
- A recorded development relation to one or more configurations, with a stated source. The edge does not establish superior or inferior moral status.
- Unknown parentage
- Evidence does not establish a parent list. Retain null. An unknown node is not an independent root by default.
- Observed base 2031
- The oldest retained base record in this sample. Its own parents are unknown; the prominent date is not an ultimate-origin proof.
- Branch release
- A public configuration-record release date, not a mind’s birthday.
A familiar picture can mislead
DimRift’s dramatic family trees are useful storytelling devices. A development graph instead records declared relations and missing evidence. It cannot settle whether two configurations are one rights-bearing subject.
